Every provider table, coverage figure and speed on this site comes from FCC Broadband Data Collection data, which internet providers file with the Federal Communications Commission. We aggregate it by city and state and publish the result without editing the numbers.

The "best for" picks on each page are computed by fixed rules that are printed next to each pick. No provider can pay to change them.

We do not publish plan prices, reviews or outage reports, because we cannot source them to the same standard. See the methodology for the details and the disclosure for how the site may earn money.
